Our Cheri Milaney fashion show at LF Fashion Week in Toronto encouraged everyone to re-think who is beautiful and who can enjoy the latest trends. Here is a picture from the look book for Cheri’s show created by the talented team at L’Oreal. Of particular interest was that comment at the top right: These are not models, they are real women! L’Oreal’s creative team demonstrated that you do not need to be tall, ultra-thin, young, and white to look incredible with the latest hair and make-up styles.

We were pleased to have partnered with Vancouver-based designer Cheri Milaney to present her Fall/Winter 2009 collection on women of diverse ages, sizes, and backgrounds on Wednesday March 18th at LG Fashion Week in Toronto. Mothers, teachers, entrepreneurs, lawyers, students, artists, and women who had courageously battled cancer walked the runway with radiance and confidence, breathing life and movement into the clothes. This event marks the first fashion show at any fashion week in the world to showcase a collection on women of diverse sizes and ages.
